The first album of new music specifically made for archive / reissue mail order innovators Collector’s Choice, Starting All Over Again from U.K. blues / rock singer Paul Jones is the first Stateside release in quite a while from the one time Manfred Mann vocalist. With Jones handling lead vocals—with backing from R&B legend Percy Sledge on the set closing “Big Blues Diamonds”—Starting All Over Again is a guitar slingers dream, complete with guest lead work from Eric Clapton including scorching lead work from Slowhand on the memorable title track. Also appearing are Jake Andrews (guitars), former Hollies singer Mikael Rikfors, drummer Alvino Bennett and more. Getting producer credits here is singer Carla Olson.
