DAVE MASON
26 Letters ~ 12 Notes
(Out The Box)

One of the founding members of Traffic and a rock guitar hero in his own right, Dave Mason is back in 2008 with a new CD entitled 26 Letters ~ 12 Notes. Released on Out The Box Records, 26 Letters ~ 12 Notes stays pretty much to Dave’s tried and true classic rock format. With it’s radio friendly, upbeat rock groove, 26 Letters ~ 12 Notes has been six years in the making and the result features Dave backed up by a solid band with the accent on his one of a kind vocals and guitar sound. Commenting on the CD, Mason adds, ‘For me, I think it’s probably one of the better albums I’ve ever done and I think I’m probably at the height of my vocal abilities right now.’ Contributions by a number of players including Jonathan McEuen (guitars) and Willie Nelson (on acoustic guitar) along a rare Mason instrumental called “El Toro” seals the deal on this long awaited studio return from Dave Mason. www.Dave-Mason.com
